Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) is launching 22 special trains to handle the increased passenger traffic during the festival season. These trains will run between Charlapalli and Sasaram from September 11 to November 21, 2025. This initiative aims to provide extra travel options for long-distance passengers.
Train No. 07021 will depart from Charlapalli to Sasaram every Thursday, starting from September 11 to November 20. Meanwhile, Train No. 07022 will travel from Sasaram to Charlapalli every Friday, from September 12 to November 21. In total, 11 trips each way are planned, resulting in 22 journeys.
The trains will stop at several key stations, including Jangaon, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Sirpur Kagazhnagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Madan Mahal, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, and Bhabua Road. This extensive route network will accommodate a vast number of travelers.
Each train will offer a range of seating options, including 1 AC, 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches. This variety ensures that passengers have suitable travel choices. The SCR’s goal is to manage the high demand during festivals and ensure a comfortable journey for all travelers.
Passengers are encouraged to plan their trips early and take advantage of these additional services. This move highlights Indian Railways’ dedication to providing reliable and comfortable travel solutions during busy periods.
With these extra trains, SCR aims to streamline travel during major festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath Puja, which traditionally see a surge in passenger numbers.
