Telangana Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka starts development projects in Bhupalapally

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu visited Bhupalapally district to kick off new development projects. Vikramarka stressed finding local solutions for local problems, saying that people shouldn’t have to go to the capital for help.

He addressed electricity concerns, refuting claims that Congress would fail to provide power. In March, the peak electricity demand hit 17,162 megawatts, yet they maintained a steady supply. He thanked the officers and staff for their efforts in ensuring uninterrupted electricity.

The government is supplying free electricity to 29 lakh pump sets, with ₹11,500 crore allocated for agricultural power. Under the Gruha Jyoti scheme, poor households get up to 200 units of free electricity, costing over ₹13,000 crore annually, which also covers government educational institutions.

Vikramarka also assured support to farmers by depositing funds into the accounts of about 1 crore 49 lakh 35 thousand farmers, underlining the government’s dedication to the agricultural sector.
