Anandgarh Picnic Farms has opened Takshila Castle, a new obstacle zone at its property in Kesavaram village near Shamirpet.

The attraction takes inspiration from the Japanese game show Takeshi’s Castle, known in India for Jaaved Jaaferi’s commentary. It features slippery surfaces, balance challenges and obstacles that test visitors’ coordination.

The course includes Ramp Royale, a slippery uphill scramble; Fortress Climb, which uses suspended tyres; and Moat Hop, with floating stepping stones. Pendulum Panic adds swinging weighted bags that can knock participants off balance.

Other challenges include Soapy Football and Meltdown, messy, competitive games built around inflatable-style obstacles.

Takshila Castle is intended for visitors aged 16 and above. Access to the obstacle zone is included in the standard Anandgarh day pass, according to the information provided about the attraction.

Anandgarh is an agro-tourism picnic farm around 40 km from central Hyderabad, and is often called “Mini Rajasthan”. Its day packages typically include breakfast, lunch and hi-tea, along with more than 75 activities, such as traditional games, sports, adventure activities, a rain dance and animal interactions.

Recent listings put adult entry at about ₹1,250 to ₹1,450, with taxes applying in some cases. Visitors can confirm current prices and timings with the farm on 7075470082 or through anandgarhfarms.com.
