Rahane scored a quickfire 61 off just 27 balls, including seven fours and three sixes, to help CSK defeat Mumbai Indians by seven wickets. Ruturaj Gaikwad also played a crucial role in the win with an unbeaten 40. CSK’s spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Mitchell Santner took five wickets between them earlier in the match. Rahane praised the freedom given by Dhoni and Fleming to all players and expressed his desire to play a Test match at the Wankhede Stadium. Dhoni also lauded Rahane’s performance and advised him to play to his strengths and enjoy the game without taking any stress.
