    Following a major train accident on June 2 in Balasore, Odisha, the Andhra Pradesh government has set up grievance cells and help desks at railway stations in the state. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered officials to establish medical facilities in hospitals in districts bordering Odisha and to keep ambulances on standby. The route of the Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express, one of the two passenger trains involved in the accident, passes through several Andhra Pradesh districts. The train had stops at Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, and Vijayawada. A high-level panel was established to offer assistance in relief operations. The panel, headed by IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath and three IAS officers, will visit the accident site.
