Hyderabad: On Sunday, N Ramchander Rao, the State BJP president, started the “Ghar Ghar BJP” campaign to inform people about the development and welfare programs launched by the Modi government.
Rao explained that the campaign’s goal is to visit every home, sharing details about the Center’s initiatives and pointing out issues with the State government’s performance.
The campaign began in Sriramnagar village, Ranga Reddy district. Rao, along with party district president Rajbhoopal Goud and other leaders, handed out pamphlets as they visited residents.
He claimed the government hindered village progress by not strengthening the panchayat system, accusing the BRS government of weakening local governance.
Rao highlighted Central schemes for village self-sufficiency, stating that PM Modi has introduced many development and welfare programs, believing national progress relies on village development. He mentioned initiatives like free rice distribution, providing homes, toilets, and gas connections, free medical care up to Rs 5 lakh, and loans for women’s self-help groups and youth self-employment.
The Center has funded road construction through the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana to connect villages. Additional schemes involve installing streetlights, developing burial grounds, and building community halls.
Rao encouraged party leaders and activists to visit homes and talk about the progress and welfare programs under Modi’s leadership. He asked the public to support the party in local elections to strengthen Modi’s leadership and help the party win in Telangana. He urged activists to work hard for victories in the ZP seats in Vikarabad and Ranga Reddy districts.
Earlier, Rao unveiled a statue of Shivaji in Gopalpuram village, Shankarpalli mandal.
