The BRS leadership is preparing for ‘Operation Akarsh’ to attract Congress leaders after the candidates are announced. They are focusing on Khammam, Mahbubnagar, and Nalgonda districts to win more seats in the upcoming elections.

The party is identifying potential leaders who want to join and using those who have good relations with the Congress to persuade them. They believe that if one candidate gets a ticket from the Congress, others will consider joining other parties. This is seen as payback for Congress leaders who took BRS leaders who didn’t get tickets.

The Congress has taken some BRS leaders to Delhi, and now the ruling party wants to do the same. BRS leaders are mainly focusing on Khammam, Mahbubnagar, and Nalgonda districts. They have already recruited BJP leader Koneru Chinni and several Congress leaders from Bhadrachalam.

There are also plans for a big leader from Munugode and a list of leaders from Mahbubnagar to join the ruling party. The BRS believes that once the Opposition announces their candidates, those who didn’t get tickets will look for alternatives, and being in power makes BRS a better option for them.
