Hyderabad: J Santhosh Kumar, the founder of Green India Challenge and a Member of Parliament, distributed seed Ganesh idols to children at Nexus Hyderabad Mall in Kukatpally on September 3. This initiative received a great response from everyone, with people asking for more seed idols.
Four years ago, Green India Challenge started distributing seed Ganesh idols during the Ganesh festival as a way to conserve the environment. The distribution programme was attended by children who were enthusiastic about joining such a big social programme. Child artist Druvan from the movie Pushpa expressed his happiness to participate in the programme and was inspired by the initiative.
Santosh Kumar emphasized the importance of installing seed Ganesh idols in homes and planting saplings. Children from different parts of the city also took part in the programme. CEO Sunil from Go Rural India Limited, Chief General Manager Upender, and Green India Challenge founder member Raghava were present at the event.
