These developments come as Telangana continues to position itself as a preferred investment destination, particularly in sectors such as information technology, financial services, manufacturing, and real estate. The state government has been actively engaging with both domestic and international companies to attract investments and create employment opportunities.

The establishment of a GCC by CIBC would add to the growing list of international financial institutions and corporations that have chosen Telangana as their operational base in India. Such centres typically handle various functions including technology development, customer service, analytics, and back-office operations for their parent organizations.

The state’s robust infrastructure, skilled workforce, and business-friendly policies have been key factors in attracting global companies to establish their capability centres and expand operations in the region.
