Telangana’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, plans to visit Medaram today to check on improvements at the important Sri Sammakka and Saralamma temples. This visit is to make sure the updates respect local tribal customs ahead of the Mahajatara festival.
The Chief Minister will arrive by helicopter around noon, joined by several ministers. He will start by examining the work at Ammavari Gadde and will talk to local priests there. After paying homage to the Ammavars, he will meet with officials to discuss the overall development plans for Medaram, focusing on digital strategies to modernize the temple. The goal is to make Medaram a globally recognized pilgrimage site while preserving its tribal heritage.
Following the review, CM Reddy will lay a foundation stone for the new projects. He will wrap up his visit with a public address before leaving for Hyderabad at 2:30 PM. In preparation for his visit, local police have tightened security to ensure safety.
