Hyderabad: The Congress is quickly forming new district committees and appointing mandal presidents. Reports from recently assigned district in-charges for the 10 former districts are due by July 15.

Party sources say district in-charges are busy visiting areas and meeting local leaders to complete their reports. One in-charge mentioned, “I will visit four more Assembly constituencies in the next two days and aim to finish by July 14 to submit the report.”

In-charges are selecting leaders for district committees and mandal positions by examining suggested names from different areas. If names are deemed suitable, they are approved at the State level. If not, reasons for rejection are noted.
