D Srinivas, Senior Telangana Leader, in Critical Condition

Senior Congress leader D Srinivas is currently in critical condition and has been admitted to a corporate hospital in Hyderabad. According to the hospital authorities, Srinivas was admitted with difficulty in breathing and altered Sensorium. He has been diagnosed with septic shock with multi organ dysfunction. Currently, he is in the intensive care unit.

Srinivas was the senior most Congress leader in Telangana state. After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, he joined BRS and was nominated as a Rajya Sabha MP. However, he recently quit BRS and stated that he will continue in Congress.
