Gadwal: Dr. S.A. Sampath Kumar, AICC Secretary and former MLA of Alampur, took immediate steps to aid farmers with irrigation problems near the RDS (Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme) canal in Vallur village, Erravelli Mandal. After visiting the area and talking to farmers, he found that their fields were not getting enough water.
Dr. Sampath Kumar quickly called officials from the Irrigation Department. He urged them to release water from the lift irrigation system to help the farmers’ crops. He stressed that farmers should not suffer from a lack of water and instructed the department to act promptly.
Later, Dr. Sampath Kumar visited Koil Dinne village in Vadddepalli Mandal to check on the construction of houses under the Indiramma Housing Scheme. He looked at the building quality and speed and spoke with the recipients.
During the visit, Dr. Sampath Kumar criticized the previous TRS government for not delivering any double-bedroom houses in their ten-year tenure. He contrasted this with the Congress-led Revanth Reddy government, which has started providing Indiramma houses to all eligible poor families within just a year.
He added that not only are the houses being sanctioned, but funds are also being deposited directly into beneficiaries’ accounts to speed up construction. Dr. Sampath Kumar emphasized the Congress government’s goal to bring joy to the poor through inclusive governance.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Dr. Sampath Kumar for their dedication and assistance.
Dr. Sampath Kumar was accompanied by:
