The AMRUT 2.0 Drinking Water Supply Scheme was officially launched in Gadwal town at the Krishna Filter Bed in Nadi Agraharam. The event saw the participation of several key leaders, including Nagar Kurnool MP Dr. Mallu Ravi, State Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, former ZP Chairperson Sarita Tirupataiah, and Municipal Chairperson B.S. Keshav.

The scheme was inaugurated with the collaboration of senior Congress party members, councillors, and former councillors. It aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people of Gadwal town. This initiative is part of a larger effort under the AMRUT 2.0 program, which focuses on improving urban water supply and ensuring sustainable management to meet the needs of the growing population.
