Hyderabad: A new attraction is coming up near the Hyderabad Airport as part of the Hyderabad Ring Road project, with Kotwalguda Eco Park set to host a dedicated Bird Exhibition and Exotic Bird Centre. The project aims to display rare and beautiful bird species for visitors and nature enthusiasts.
According to officials, the Eco Park is being developed to promote environmental awareness while offering a unique recreational experience.
About the Bird Exhibition Centre
The centre will showcase several varieties of exotic birds from countries including Australia, New Zealand and African regions. Authorities plan to display around 1,000 birds, with the exhibition expected to run for six months.
These birds will be housed in specially designed enclosures, and arrangements are being made to ensure proper care, health and maintenance. Officials have appointed experienced handlers to supervise the birds.

The exhibition is being set up on 85 acres within Hyderabad Eco Park, with an estimated cost of ₹150 crore.

Visitors will be able to watch African macaws, lorikeets, toucans, pigeons, ducks and other rare birds.

Feeding activities, educational sessions and awareness programs will also be part of the centre.

The park will host finches and ornamental species, adding to the variety of birds showcased.

Two separate aviary domes are being constructed for safe bird housing and controlled environments.
Officials confirmed that the Eco Park is being developed to serve as a major recreational hub for Hyderabad, offering citizens an opportunity to explore nature and wildlife up close.
