As of April 4, 2023, the prices of petrol and diesel in major cities across India have remained stable. In Delhi, the price of petrol is currently at Rs. 96.72 per litre, while diesel is priced at Rs. 89.62 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of petrol in Hyderabad is Rs. 109.66 per litre, and diesel is available for Rs. 97.82 per litre. In Chennai, petrol is being sold at Rs. 102.65 per litre, and diesel is priced at Rs. 94.24 per litre.

In Mumbai, the current price of petrol is Rs. 106.31 per litre, and diesel is available for Rs. 97,28 per litre. In Bangalore, petrol prices are at Rs. 101.94 per litre, while diesel prices remain at Rs. 87.89 per litre.

It’s important to note that India relies heavily on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel, which means that fluctuations in crude oil prices can significantly impact fuel prices in the country. Additionally, other factors such as rising demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio can also influence domestic fuel prices.

It’s worth mentioning that the fuel prices mentioned above are due at 6 am and are subject to change at any time as petroleum companies may alter fuel prices based on crude oil prices.
