Today, on 26 March 2023, the petrol and diesel prices in India have remained stable. The petrol price in Delhi is currently at Rs. 96.72 per litre, while the diesel price is at Rs. 89.62 per litre. Similarly, in Hyderabad, the petrol price remains at Rs. 109.66 per litre, and the diesel price is at Rs. 97.82 per litre. In Chennai, the petrol price is Rs. 102.65 per litre, and the diesel price is Rs. 94.24 per litre.

In Mumbai, the petrol price per litre is Rs. 106.31, and the diesel price remains at Rs. 97.28 per litre. Meanwhile, in Bangalore, the petrol price today is Rs. 101.94 per litre, and the diesel price is at Rs. 87.89 per litre.

India relies heavily on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel production, which means that crude oil prices have a significant impact on fuel rates in the country. However, other factors such as increasing demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery capacity utilization ratio also contribute to fluctuations in domestic fuel prices.

It is important to note that these fuel prices are subject to change at any time as petroleum companies like Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) adjust their prices based on crude oil prices. The prices mentioned above are due at 6 am and may change throughout the day.
