India relies heavily on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel production, which means that crude oil prices have a significant impact on fuel rates in the country. However, other factors such as increasing demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery capacity utilization ratio also contribute to fluctuations in domestic fuel prices.
It is important to note that these fuel prices are subject to change at any time as petroleum companies like Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) adjust their prices based on crude oil prices. The prices mentioned above are due at 6 am and may change throughout the day.
