    Techno Paints, a Hyderabad-based paint manufacturer, is expanding its operations by establishing three new manufacturing plants. These plants will be located in Visakhapatnam and Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh and Katny in Madhya Pradesh, and will produce cement putty, textures, primers, and emulsions. Each plant will have an initial annual capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes, and the company is investing Rs. 46 crore in the project, which will be funded through debt. Techno Paints currently operates three plants in Telangana and one in Andhra Pradesh, with a total annual capacity of 2.50 Lakh metric tonnes. In addition to this expansion, the company has recently secured a major project from the Telangana government to paint 26,065 schools under the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi and Mana Basti-Mana Badi projects. Techno Paints has completed 2,200 school painting works so far and has undertaken 960 corporate, government, and other painting projects since its establishment in 2001.
