Asifabad: District Collector Venkatesh Dhotre has directed officials to finish the construction of cement concrete (CC) roads and drainage systems in the district by March 30. These projects are being taken up under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS).
The Collector held a review meeting through Zoom from the Collectorate. He was joined by Additional Collector Deepak Tiwari, District Rural Development Officer (DRDO) Datta Rao, and Panchayat Raj Executive Engineer Prabhakar.
During the meeting, the Collector emphasized the importance of completing the projects on time, as only four days remain in the financial year. He asked engineering officials to focus on completing the approved works in each mandal.
He also stressed the need to ensure good quality in the construction so that the roads and drainage systems will be durable and helpful to the people in the villages.
