Hyderabad: In a significant step towards improving traffic flow and infrastructure in Serilingampally Zone, GHMC Commissioner Ilambarithi K. IAS, HMDA Commissioner Sarfaraj Ahmed IAS, and Cyberabad Traffic Joint Commissioner Joel Davis IPS conducted an inspection of major intersections today. Accompanied by CE Projects Bhaskar Reddy, Zonal Commissioner Serilingampally, and other GHMC officials, the team assessed the ongoing and upcoming development projects at IIT Junction, Gachibowli Junction, and Radisson Junction.

During the inspection, officials reviewed the plans for a new flyover at IIT Junction, which is set to be constructed under the Hyderabad City Traffic (HCT) scheme. The proposed flyover aims to decongest the busy IIT Junction, which has been facing severe traffic issues due to increasing vehicle movement in the area.

The GHMC and HMDA officials discussed technical aspects, project timelines, and the overall impact of these infrastructure projects on easing congestion. The development of these intersections is expected to bring long-term relief to commuters and improve road connectivity in the IT corridor, particularly in Gachibowli, Hitech City, and Financial District.

GHMC has been actively working on several traffic improvement initiatives across Hyderabad, with a focus on reducing bottlenecks and ensuring smoother vehicular movement. Further updates on project implementation and timelines are expected in the coming weeks.
