Hyderabad: The government is actively working to make Warangal the second capital of the state, aiming to change both its urban and political landscape. On Saturday, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy led a key meeting at the Secretariat in Hyderabad to discuss this transformation.

Ministers D Anasuya (Seethakka), Konda Surekha, and the CM’s advisor Vem Narender Reddy joined him to review various projects that will turn Warangal into a vital administrative and economic center.

A major focus was on the long-awaited Mamnoor Airport. The minister announced that land acquisition for the airport is being accelerated using green channel funds, with plans to make it operational soon.
