Vemulawada: In a significant event on Saturday, Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas handed out Indiramma housing patta certificates to 144 families in need of land and homes in Vemulawada town.
Srinivas spoke to the attendees, highlighting that the Telangana government is dedicated to making home ownership a reality for the poor under the Indiramma Rajyam initiative. He stressed that providing housing for economically disadvantaged groups is a key focus for the state.
He also revealed plans for a new residential project near the Vemulawada Bus Depot. The project, valued at Rs 7.63 crore, will include 144 housing units. These will be constructed in a G+2 format, spread across 12 blocks, with completion expected on schedule.
The event saw attendance from several notable figures, such as Market Committee Chairman Raju, Vice Chairman Kanikarpuram Rakesh, housing department officials, Municipal Commissioner Anvesh, and local Congress leaders.
