The Congress leadership is seriously considering creating a Deputy Chief Minister position. This new role would likely go to someone from the BC community, strengthening political representation across different social groups.

Cabinet expansion plans are moving quickly ahead of local body elections. The state government will announce election dates after results from the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election are declared.

Several Congress politicians have started intense lobbying efforts with party leaders in New Delhi. Some hopeful candidates have grown frustrated with the delay and stopped attending official government events.
