Nizamabad: On Wednesday, Governor Jishnu Dev Verma met with well-known poets, artists, writers, award-winning athletes, and social activists from the district at the Collectorate in Nizamabad.
After attending a graduation event at Telangana University, the Governor arrived at the Collectorate. There, he was honored with a police guard of honor. District legislators Sudarshan Reddy, Bhupathi Reddy, Dhanpal Suryanarayana, Rakesh Reddy, along with Collector T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, Police Commissioner Sai Chaitanya, and other officials welcomed him with flowers.
Governor Verma first explored a photo exhibition showcasing development and welfare initiatives by various departments in the district. District Collector T. Vinay Krishna Reddy explained the details of these programs, and the Governor showed keen interest.
Later, the Governor joined a friendly meeting in the conference hall with notable poets, artists, and writers from the district. He also interacted with athletes who have achieved national and international recognition, as well as social activists.
