Flooding occurred in low-lying areas of Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts, with Mahadevpur GHMC division recording 15.1 cm of rain, and Banjara Hills seeing 12.4 cm. Hyderabad Metro stations and trains were packed with people seeking alternative transport during the heavy rain.
