Heavy showers are set to drench northern Tamil Nadu and nearby areas today and tomorrow. This is due to a depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal. The Visakhapatnam Meteorological Department warns that coastal regions, including Rayalaseema, will face significant rainfall, with heavy showers predicted in several districts.

Rain is expected to continue in Rayalaseema and along the southern coast until Friday. Residents in the Manyam and Alluri districts should be alert for possible thundershowers.

In Telangana, light to moderate rain is forecast for the next three days. This is also due to the depression in the Bay of Bengal, according to the Hyderabad Meteorological Department. Thundershowers are likely today and tomorrow, with moderate to heavy rain in several districts. A yellow alert is in place for 13 districts today and 12 tomorrow, following rains that hit areas like Hyderabad on Monday.
