The Telangana government has stated that people without ration cards can still apply for insurance. It is advised for them to attach their ration card and Aadhaar card when applying. Many individuals are now applying for new ration cards and insurance guarantees.
However, there has been some confusion regarding the required attachments. Officials have clarified that mentioning any category of BC, SC, ST, or minorities is sufficient. Caste and income certificates are not necessary.
Additionally, there have been complaints about the unavailability of Abhyahastam applications and allegations that Xerox centers are selling them. The government has emphasized that application forms should be obtained for free and not purchased.
