    Police Arrest Man for Blackmailing MLA with Fake Video

    Rajendranagar police have arrested a man named M. Shyam Sunder for trying to blackmail and extort money from a politician. He claimed to be connected to a local YouTube news channel called Praja Voice.

    According to the police, Shyam Sunder and another person, Nirupa Anil Kumar Dadania, tried to threaten T. Laxmikantha Rao, the MLA of the Jukkal constituency. They planned to release a video interview of a woman that could damage the MLA’s reputation. The video is believed to have been edited or made to look misleading.

    After the MLA filed a complaint, police quickly took action. They registered a case and arrested Shyam Sunder. During the investigation, they also seized laptops, desktops, a mobile phone, and a vehicle.

    This case has raised concerns about how people are misusing digital media platforms for personal benefit. The police are still investigating and looking for more evidence or possible connections to others.
