The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) recently conducted the Group-1 Prelims examination on November 7, 2021. The exam was conducted to fill 36 vacancies in various departments of the Telangana government. However, the exam was mired in controversy after reports of alleged paper leak started doing the rounds. As a result, 15 individuals who scored over 100 in the TSPSC Group-1 Prelims were questioned by the police.

The TSPSC Group-1 Prelims exam consisted of two papers – General Studies and Mental Ability. The exam was conducted in offline mode across various centers in Telangana. However, soon after the exam was conducted, reports of paper leak started surfacing on social media platforms. It was alleged that the question paper was leaked before the exam and was circulated among a few candidates.

The Telangana police swung into action and started investigating the matter. They questioned several people, including the TSPSC officials and candidates who scored over 100 marks in the exam. The police also seized mobile phones and other electronic devices from the suspects to check for any evidence of paper leak.

The TSPSC officials have denied any paper leak and have stated that the exam was conducted smoothly without any glitches. They have also stated that they are cooperating with the police in their investigation.

The alleged paper leak has raised serious questions about the fairness and transparency of the TSPSC exams. The TSPSC is responsible for conducting recruitment exams for various government departments in Telangana. However, if such allegations of paper leak continue to surface, it will erode the trust of the candidates in the TSPSC exams.

The TSPSC should take strict measures to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future. They should conduct exams in a more secure manner, with proper surveillance and monitoring. They should also take strict action against anyone found guilty of paper leak, to send a strong message to others.

In conclusion, the alleged paper leak in the TSPSC Group-1 Prelims exam is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. The TSPSC should take all necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future. The candidates who appeared for the exam should also cooperate with the police in their investigation. Only then can we ensure that the TSPSC exams are conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
