The Telangana High Court heard Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy’s anticipatory bail petition on Friday. Avinash’s lawyer, Uma Maheshwar Rao, argued that his client is being falsely implicated in Viveka’s murder. Gangireddy, an accused in the case, had land disputes with Viveka and could have been the reason for the murder. Additionally, Viveka had differences with two other accused, Sunil Yadav and Umashankar.

Uma Maheswar Rao denied the allegations that Avinash Reddy murdered YS Vivekananda Reddy for an MP seat. The CBI has not named Avinash Reddy as an accused in relation to Viveka’s murder, and no investigation was conducted until two charge sheets were filed. The lawyer expressed concern over the way the CBI is questioning Avinash Reddy and sought the court to have the audio and videos related to his investigation.
