The BRS party has started announcing candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in constituencies where there is no conflict between leaders. This gives the leaders clarity to move forward with their plans. In the past, the BRS chief would declare all the candidates, but now the party is encouraging its leaders to focus on the elections. The BRS working president and Finance Minister are touring districts to seek support for their chosen candidates.

The first candidate announced was Padi Kaushik Reddy in Huzurabad. The BRS working president also asked people in Devarakadra to ensure A Venkateshwar Reddy wins with at least one lakh votes this time. Similarly, Harish Rao urged voters in Narayankhed to vote for Bhupal Reddy again.

The State Assembly elections may be held after October and the candidates will be announced beforehand. However, the party is cautious about constituencies with multiple candidates seeking tickets. The BRS chief will have one-on-one meetings with MLAs to determine if they will be in the fray or lose their tickets.
