HC sentences city leading police authorities amongst 4 to four-week jail time

Hyderabad: In a thrilling decision, the Telangana High Court on Monday punished 4 police authorities to jail time of 4 weeks in a ridicule situation. The authorities are Hyderabad Joint Commissioner of Police A R Srinivas, Banjara Hills ACP Sudarshan, Jubilee Hills CI Rajasekhar Reddy and also SI Naresh.
They were billed with acting as opposed to the orders of the Supreme Court in the marital situation and also not notifying under Section 41A CrPC.
The court located that the authorities had actually opposed the Supreme Court orders in the event. However, the court enabled them to appeal versus the sentence and also adjourned its implementation for 6 weeks.
It guided the City Police Commissioner to take department corrective activity versus the 4 authorities. The High Court regulationed in favour of Jakka Vinod Kumar Reddy and also Jakka Soujanya Reddy in an application submitted last year.
