Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police created profits of Rs 64, 63,200 lakh via the auctioning of confiscated and also abandoned vehicles.
The public auction was held at Goshamahal police premises on Tuesday under the guidance of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad city.
A total amount of 1,150 confiscated and also deserted automobiles were auctioned on Tuesday.
Of the 1,150 automobiles up for public auction, 1,060 deserted scrap automobiles brought Rs 53,05,000. Apart from that, 82 roadworthy automobiles were auctioned for Rs 11,58,200 in the public auction. The complete quantity obtained from the public auction pertains to Rs 64,63,200.
They were installed for public auction after the signed up proprietors fell short to retrieve the car in spite of alerting them via news release.
Chairman of public auction board Sri Karthikeya,Jt CP, CAR Hqrs, in addition to various other policemans, asked for prospective buyers to bid for automobiles rather.
