Two separate incidents of violence occurred in Hyderabad on Tuesday night. In Kulsumpura, a man named N Venkatesh (42) was allegedly strangled to death by his son Sai Kumar following an argument. Venkatesh had returned home in an intoxicated state and began quarrelling with his family, leading to his son killing him in a fit of rage. The police arrived at the scene and took Sai Kumar into custody, while Venkatesh’s body was taken to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.

In another incident, a 26-year-old man named Akash Singh was shot dead by unknown assailants in Tappachabutra. Singh had gone to the area to settle an ongoing dispute when he was attacked and killed. The police suspect that a man named Kranthi, who had been having disputes with Singh, may have been responsible for the attack. Singh had previously been booked for attempted murder and was out on bail at the time of his death. The police have formed special teams to investigate the case and apprehend the suspects.
