    KTR credits KCR for transforming ponds during Telangana’s decennial celebrations in ten years

    Telangana State Municipal and Urban Development Minister K Taraka Ramarao praised Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his efforts in transforming the ponds of Telangana, especially in the face of water scarcity. Thanks to projects like Mission Kakatiya and Kaleswaram, the chief minister has been able to provide water to the people and prevent drought. The Minister also noted that the Mission Kakatiya scheme has been praised by the Water Man of India and has become an inspiration for the rest of the country.

    On the occasion of the Telangana Decade Celebrations, Minister KTR congratulated everyone who worked hard on this project. He said that the Mission Kakatiya scheme has led to an increase in water storage capacity and underground water levels. Castes who depended on the ponds have also seen their fortunes rise. The minister revealed that the state government is filling the ponds with water from the ambitious project Kaleshwaram.
