There is a disagreement between two political parties in Telangana, India. The ruling party, BRS, and the friendly party, AIMIM, have exchanged words. BRS Working President KT Rama Rao responded to AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi’s criticism of the BRS government for taking minorities for granted. Rama Rao said that not all minorities vote for AIMIM and that their party does not take anyone for granted. He believes that people vote for a party that can provide them with good governance, regardless of religion.

Rama Rao also commented on Owaisi’s speeches targeting the BRS government at public meetings in Telangana. He said that Owaisi praises Telangana’s model for minorities welfare when he goes to other states, so it’s up to him which Asad Owaisi people should believe.

When asked about AIMIM’s plan to contest more seats, Rama Rao said that it’s an independent party and can contest anywhere. He is confident that BRS will win a hat-trick of electoral victories in Telangana and predicts that the party will win 90 to 100 seats in the upcoming elections.

Rama Rao believes that the BJP has no presence in Telangana and will lose even the three seats they have in the current Assembly. He also believes that Congress is no competition for the BRS in the state. He challenged BJP and Congress to announce their candidates for the post of Chief Minister and claimed that under BRS rule, Telangana achieved in nine years what Congress and BJP had done in 75 years.

Rama Rao stated that BRS is against the idea of bringing only one party to power and aims to implement the good practices of Telangana state in other states. He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and dared them to name a state doing better than Telangana.
