The leader of the BRS party, K Chandrasekhar Rao, is having one-on-one meetings with some of his party’s leaders to discuss their strengths and weaknesses. He has conducted surveys to understand the ground situation and the popularity of each leader. This is because KCR wants to win 100 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections and doesn’t want to take any chances.
During these meetings, KCR will also discuss who the leaders’ main opponents are and give them guidance on how to effectively counter them. If a leader’s graph does not improve within a specified time, they may face the axe. This meeting is important because KCR had previously reprimanded some MLAs for allegedly taking money from Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries. He had done a similar exercise before the 2018 elections.
