    Sri Hanuman Jayanthi to cause traffic restrictions in Hyderabad tomorrow

    The Hyderabad traffic police have announced traffic restrictions for the upcoming ‘Sri Hanuman Jayanthi Vijaya Yatra’ procession in the city. The main procession will commence from Gowliguda Ram Mandir at 11:30 am and conclude at Hanuman Mandir Tadbund in Secunderabad. The procession will cover a distance of 12kms and traverse through several areas including Gowliguda, Ram Mandir, Putlibowli ‘X’ roads, Andhra Bank ‘X’ roads, Koti DM & HS, Sultan Bazar ‘X’ Roads, Ramkoti ‘X’ roads, Kachiguda ‘X’ roads, Narayanguda YMCA, Chikkadpally ‘X’ Roads, RTC ‘X’ roads, Ashok Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, back side Viceroy Hotel, Praga Tools, Kavadiguda, CGO Towers, Bansilalpet Road, Bible house, City Light Hotel, Bata ShowRoom, Ujjaini Mahankali Temple, Old Ramgopalpet PS, Paradise X Roads, CTO Junction, Lee Royal Palace, Brooke Bond, Imperial Garden, Mastan Café and finally to Sree Hanuman Temple Tadbund.

    Another procession will commence from Karmanghat Hanuman temple (Rachakonda Commissionerate Jurisdiction) and enter into Hyderabad City limits at Champapet. It will pass through Champapet X Road, IS Sadan, Dhobighat- ACP off Malakpet Saidabad Colony Road, Sankeshwar Bazar and enter into Rachakonda Commissionerate Limits at Saroor Nagar Tank. It will then re-enter city limits at Rajiv Gandhi Statue, Dilsukhnagar and pass through Moosaram Bagh Junction, Malakpet – Nalgonda X Road, Azampura Rotary and Chaderghat X Road before joining the main procession at DM&HS, Women’s Junction. This procession will cover a distance of 10.8 kms before joining the main procession.

    To ensure the smooth flow of the procession, traffic on these routes will be diverted when the procession goes through the designated route. The traffic police have advised commuters to take alternate routes to reach their desired destinations.
