Telangana Government intending to commemorate 200 years of Urdu journalism

Hyderabad: Telangana Home Minister Mohammad Mohmood Ali on Wednesday notified that the State government is intending to commemorate a grand event to mark for the conclusion of 200 years of Urdu journalism.

The Minister held a conference with some famous individualities at his home and also gone over concerning the recommended setups to make the occasion a grand success.

Speaking on the event, the Minister praised the Telangana Urdu Working Journalists Federation (TUWJ) for taking the effort to commemorate the event and also guaranteed that he would certainly expand all the assistance in support of the State government for making the occasion a grand success.

Mahmood Ali stated that he will certainly bring the issue to the notification of Tourism and also Culture Minister Srinivas Goud on the proposition of commemorating the 200 years of Urdu journalism at Ravindra Bharathi in the city. On the event, the Minister asked the agents to comprise a board on the events and also prepare standards hereof.
