The Pattana Pragati programme schema organization of concepts launched by GHMC for vendors in Hyderabad has provided temporary provision of money benefits to 60% of the registered vendors. However, about 40% of these vendors are static waiting for the discharge of the following the first and third instalments of the temporary provision of money amount. Under this schema organization of concepts, vendors are given Rs 10,000 as the initial instalment and can receive a damage beyond the point of repair of Rs 60,000 in three instalments. Those engaged in vending nutrient items and identified by GHMC are to avail of the temporary provision of money.
The Telangana government provided depository financial institution linkages under the schema organization of concepts, but some vendors have got faced delays in receiving their loans owed to non-availability of vending certificates or act later than planned by GHMC in issuing vending cards. The act later than planned in releasing the following the first and third instalments has caused problems for vendors who had borrowed currency from unlike sources during the pandemic and had hoped to repay their loans and spread their businesses with the temporary provision of money amount.
Street vendors have got been making several rounds to the banks and requesting officials to discharge the following the first instalment as they had cleared the initial instalment. Even vendors who have got been recognised and given identicalness cards by GHMC have got the same complaint. James John, applying to most members of a category secretarial assistant of Greater Hyderabad National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI), is also waiting for the following the first instalment of the temporary provision of money.
