An illegal ice cream manufacturing unit operating under the name “Blue Bells Ice Cream” was raided and shut down by authorities in Bapuji Nagar, Musheerabad. The Commissioner’s Task Force teams from Khairtabad and Secunderabad zones, working alongside the H-FAST Team and the Food Safety Officer of GHMC, conducted a surprise inspection based on credible intelligence about the illegal operations.

During the raid, one person identified as Pattala Ashok was apprehended for running the manufacturing unit without a valid license. He has been charged under Cr. No.118/2026, U/Sec. 125, 318(4) of BNS at Musheerabad Police Station for manufacturing and selling adulterated, unhygienic, and expired ice cream products in violation of food safety regulations.

The inspection uncovered large-scale production and distribution of substandard ice cream products in multiple flavours. The unit was manufacturing Mango, Vanilla, American Nuts, Butter Scotch, Dry Fruit, Strawberry, Cream & Cookies, Special Flavours, and Malai Kulfi ice creams, along with small “Pepsi” ice cream packs.
