Hyderabad, June 30 (Namaste Telangana): BJP Hyderabad MLA Raja Singh’s allegations against the security provided to him by the Telangana government have caused a stir. Minister KTR has responded to the allegations, stating that he will personally ensure Raja Singh’s safety. DGP Anjani Kumar has also been contacted to discuss the matter, and DCP Goni Sandeep has provided details of the investigation. Based on the DGP’s recommendation, Raja Singh has been assigned a security category of “V+” which confirms the credibility of his claims. The state government is considering providing additional security to him.
Considering Raja Singh’s recent threats from other individuals, the state government is now contemplating enhancing his security. The government is keen on ensuring peace and security, and thus has upgraded Raja Singh’s security category to “V+”. This category includes a security detail of 11 officers, including two Personal Security Officers (PSOs). Additionally, an escort vehicle and private security detail will be provided. The government is taking all necessary precautions to ensure his safety, including stationing a guard at his residence. A sub-inspector rank officer will also be present as part of the enhanced security measures. They will be equipped with automatic weapons. However, it remains to be seen whether Raja Singh will accept the security provided by the state government or opt for central security.
