Hyderabad: In preparation for the Jubilee Hills by-election polling, Hyderabad Commissioner Sajjanar issued important directives. Restrictions will be in place from 6 PM on the 9th (Sunday) until 6 PM on the 11th (Tuesday) when polling concludes, and again from 6 AM on the 14th until 6 PM on the 15th during vote counting.
During these periods, all liquor stores must remain closed. Additionally, hotels, restaurants, and clubs are ordered to shut down. For maintaining peace, Section 144 will be enforced across the constituency. Gatherings of five or more people within 200 meters of polling stations are prohibited.
On the vote counting day, bursting firecrackers on roads and in residential areas is banned. Commissioner Sajjanar warned that legal action will be taken against those who violate these orders.
