Hyderabad: BRS leader KT Rama Rao urged party members on Wednesday to strive for the party’s victory, aiming to correct officials acting like Congress supporters.
During an event, several leaders from Congress and BJP in the Vikarabad constituency joined BRS in KT Rama Rao’s presence. He stated that after winning the local body elections with a large majority, they would address officials behaving like Congress activists. He emphasized the importance of winning local elections such as MPTCs and ZPCs to prevent any harassment from officials. KTR described these elections as a warm-up for the upcoming Assembly elections and urged the members to secure wins for the party’s candidates. He encouraged them to engage with the community and highlight the ‘frauds’ committed by Congress.
KTR accused the Congress of misleading the people of Telangana with false promises under the guise of six guarantees. He criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for boasting about issuing ration cards available at Meeseva centers during large public gatherings. He suggested that if voters choose the car symbol regardless of the candidate, all mandals and Zilla Parishad seats in the Vikarabad constituency would favor BRS.
