Hyderabad: The battle against breast cancer in India received a boost on Wednesday. The Sudha Reddy Foundation, together with the MEIL Foundation, revealed the second Pink Power Run (PPR 2.0) at a press event at Trident Hyderabad.
With the inspiring motto “Stride and Shine,” this year’s run invites participants to step forward with courage and hope. The theme focuses on how every step—whether for healing, support, or advocacy—can make a difference, and each act of determination can motivate entire communities. Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, and Miss World Asia 2025, Krishnah Gravidez, attended the event.
Opal, a breast cancer survivor, shared her journey of courage and resilience, adding emotional depth to the announcement. “Having faced the fear and uncertainty of breast cancer, I am here to tell every woman in Hyderabad and worldwide that you are not alone. Knowledge, early screening, and a strong community save lives,” she expressed.
Krishnah Gravidez highlighted the true essence of beauty and purpose. “This event reminds us that real beauty lies in our actions, empathy, and purpose. I am proud to support the Sudha Reddy Foundation in this cause. Together, we can change how breast cancer is perceived,” she stated.
Both figures will join thousands on September 28, 2025, as Necklace Road becomes a symbol of unity and strength in pink.
