Protesting wrestlers have gone to court in Delhi today to ask for supervision over the investigation into Brij Bhushan Singh, the former head of the Wrestling Federation of India. The wrestlers want to record the statements of a minor who was also allegedly assaulted. They have claimed that the police have not been supportive and have not recorded the statements of complainants. The court has asked for the response of the Delhi Police to a request for a court-monitored probe into sexual harassment allegations against Singh by female wrestlers. The plea asks for a report on the steps taken by the police and a court-monitored investigation.
