The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is unhappy with the decision of opposition parties to boycott the inauguration of the new Parliament building. The NDA, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), believes that this decision shows a lack of respect for democracy. They have urged the opposition parties to reconsider their decision and attend the event.

The NDA has said that skipping the ceremony is disrespectful and goes against democratic norms and constitutional principles. They also believe that this decision shows a lack of attention to parliamentary procedure and is a betrayal of the principles advocated by BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi.

Twenty-one parties have declared their intention to boycott the event due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s choice to preside over it rather than President Droupadi Murmu. However, some parties that are friendly to the BJP, like the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party and the Biju Janata Dal, will attend the inauguration.

The NDA has signed a declaration condemning the opposition’s decision and saying that it is an insult to democracy and elected representatives. They have also said that the 140 crore people of India will not forget this insult.
