Rahul Gandhi spoke at a rally in Kolar, Karnataka and urged people to vote for the Congress party in 150 seats out of 224 to prevent the BJP from breaking the government. He stated that the Congress is united and ready to get a full majority. Rahul Gandhi assured people that if the Congress comes to power, they will help the poor, farmers, labourers and small industrialists. The promises made in Karnataka such as providing 200 units of free electricity, Rs 2,000 allowance for woman heads of family and 10 kgs of free rice for every member of BPL family should be fulfilled in the first cabinet meeting.
