New variant of Covid detected in Hyderabad as two children test positive

Corona is once again causing fear in the country as new cases of the Covid variant are being reported in many states. This latest variant is affecting young children. The Central Medical and Health Department has warned parents to take care of their children. In Telangana, the number of cases is increasing, with two children in Hyderabad being affected by Corona.

These children were tested at Nilofar Hospital in the city and were diagnosed with Covid. Additionally, six more new active cases have been reported in Telangana, bringing the total number of active cases in the state to 25.

Doctors have identified symptoms of a new variant in a woman from Ganpuram Mandal Gandhinagar of Warangal District. She was immediately taken to Warangal MGM Hospital where samples were collected and sent to a lab in Pune for testing. A special corona ward has been set up in MGM Hospital, and a case has also been registered in Siddipet.

Due to the increasing number of corona cases, the state health minister Damodar Rajanarsimha has instructed medical officers to make special arrangements for Covid in all district hospitals. Experts suggest that with the rising cases, there is a need to increase the number of testing centers.
