Hyderabad: On Monday, Nizam College was filled with bright colors and festive cheer for the Bathukamma celebrations organized by the Literary and Cultural Club, led by A. Swathi. This event highlighted the rich culture of Telangana and united faculty, staff, and students in a joyful celebration.
K. Shilpavalli, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Central Zone, attended as the Chief Guest and delivered motivational remarks. Principal Prof. A.V. Rajashekar welcomed the guests and thanked everyone for contributing to the event’s success.
The campus featured beautiful decorations, and staff members displayed traditional Bathukammas. The event strengthened community bonds and cultural pride among participants. Also attending were Vice Principal Dr. S. Renuka, Cluster College Coordinator Dr. M. Radhika, Academic Coordinator Dr. Hemasri, Controller of Examinations Dr. B. Padma, Dr. Aarti (HOD, Commerce), Public Relations Officer Dr. S. Kavita, and other faculty members.
