A special farewell ceremony took place on Thursday at the IDOC Conference Hall in Gadwal. The event honored E.D. SC Ramesh Babu for his outstanding work as the District BC, SC, and Minority Welfare Officer, and as the Election SVEEP Nodal Officer. He is now transferring to Hyderabad.
District Collector B.Y.M. Santosh commended Ramesh Babu for his dedication and discipline. He emphasized Ramesh Babu’s significant role in implementing welfare schemes for BC, SC, and Minority communities, ensuring they reached those in need. The Collector praised his unique approach to voter awareness as SVEEP Nodal Officer, which helped increase voter turnout. Ramesh Babu’s experience and skills have greatly benefited the district, and he was wished success in his future duties.
The event saw the presence of Additional Collector Narsinga Rao, DPO Nagendram, SC Welfare Officer Nishitha, LDM Srinivasa Rao, Animal Husbandry Officer Venkateswarlu, and many wardens and staff from the SC, ST, and BC welfare departments.
